Day 2

Today, Ben and I visited some very cool places, being primarily Westminster Abbey, the Churchill War Rooms, and London's International Antiquarian Book Fair (which happens to be the largest book fair in Europe). Here are a few pics of Westminster and the Houses of Parliament.

And the Cabinet war rooms...
Notice how this map is cut into sheets, which, overall, provide accurate distances and projections, similar to Mercator's projection.
And the book fair...
Essentially, all the books were out of our price range. But there were one or two that Ben and I might go back for...
So ended our second day. Due to being at the book fair, Ben and I didn't get back till 8:30ish. Tomorrow, we hope to tackle the British Museum and possibly the Tower of London. Stay tuned!

  2. How cool to get to see all those books! Sorry you can't buy the Peter Rabbit story...I know that it's one of your favorites.
